Ashley Yang-Thompson is an artist of many mediums. She creates hyper-realistic oil paintings, VHS video art, zines, letters, poetry— anything and everything. Yang-Thompson’s work has been selected for exhibition in places like the San Fransisco Asian Art Museum and the Gund Gallery Museum. She has also been a recipient of fellowships such as the National Endowment of the Arts Creative Equity Fellowship and Mass MoCA’s Assets for Artists grant.
